All sessions are conducted in a private, supportive, and confidential environment, either in person at our Hawthorn clinic or via secure telehealth.

Medicare Rebates.
If you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), prior to your first appointment with one of our Hawthorn-based psychologists, you may like to see your GP to assess a psychological treatment referral. This entitles you to a rebate of $145.25 per session (2026), for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
To process your rebate, a copy of your referral letter and MHCP from your GP is required. You can request that your GP send this directly, you can email it, or you are welcome to bring it with you on the day of your first appointment.You may be eligible for Medicare rebates if you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician.

Private Health Insurance
A partial rebate may also be available through your private health insurance. It is best to contact your health insurance provider directly to discuss whether your policy includes psychological services extras cover.
Please note that rebates through your private health insurance are not available on consultations where a Medicare rebate is being claimed.
WorkSafe/TAC
If eligible, you can also receive treatment through WorkSafe and TAC. These schemes support people who have experienced psychological injury following workplace incidents, cumulative work stress, or transport-related accidents.
Payment Process
Payment is required on the day of your appointment.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected events occur. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur the full session fee.
This policy helps ensure appointment availability for all clients.
