Steps to See a Psychologist at Mood & Mind

Step 2 – Psychologist Match
We’ll help match you with the right psychologist and find an appointment time that suits your schedule
Step 3 – Make An Appointment
After speaking to one of our friendly team members, book an appointment via email, phone or online.
Step 4 – Get a Mental Health Care Plan (optional)
If you’d like to access Medicare rebates, visit your GP for a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral. If you’re attending privately, no referral is needed
Step 5 – Intake and Consent Form
Before your first session, you’ll receive simple online forms to help your psychologist understand your needs and goals
Step 6 – Text Message Reminder
48 hours before your appointment, you will receive a text message reminder. Please take your time to understand the cancellation policy
Step 7 – First Appointment
Your first appointment is a space to feel heard, understand what’s going on, and begin creating a plan that feels right for you.
Step 8 – Ongoing Support
We’ll help match you with the right psychologist and find an appointment time that suits your schedule
Step 9 – Re-book Online
Psychologists at Mood and Mind have ongoing booking options for current clients for the convenience of booking. This option is not available for new patients because we like to learn about new clients to see how we can support you before booking you in.
